The latest issue of Arcade Happenings features an opportunity to view The Dowell Residence.
Special Open House Opportunity on July 10
The Dowell Residence in Seward Park
FREE for MEMBERS and SPONSORS* ONLY through June 27
Due to limited capacity, non-members will able to purchase tickets beginning on June 28, if space is available.
To acknowledge the generosity of our community, SAF and ARCADE are partnering to offer key supporters an opportunity to view this mid-century modern gem. The Dowell Residence in Seward Park was designed by Paul Hayden Kirk in 1953 with landscaping by William G. Teufel. Just two sequential owner-stewards have continuously owned the home, so this is a rare opportunity to take a peek inside this important example of Northwest modernism. The home has been restored over the years and many of the original original fixtures & furnishings have been retained For more information on the property, please visit TheDowellResidence.com

Coinciding with the premier of The Dowell Residence is the Seattle Art Museum's exhibit on Modernism in the Pacific Northwest. The exhibit focuses on the work of Mark Tobey, Morris Graves, Kenneth Callahan, and Guy Anderson-regional artists who drew from the various cultures of the Pacific Northwest, including Asian, Native, and European, and who made an international impact.
I'm Edward Krigsman, a Seattle-based real estate broker with a lifelong appreciation of historically significant properties with exceptional architectural design. I am representing the sale of The Dowell Residence and welcome your input.
